We are excited to announce that our Help Yourshelf project has been selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts customer vote! This means that our initiative will be featured in Tesco, where customers can vote for us to receive funding that will help support university students and families with food and essential necessities.

 

How the Voting Works 💡

 

From the first week of April 2025 until the end of June 2025, Tesco customers will have the chance to vote for our project at Wrexham Extra (LL13 8HF). Every time you shop at Tesco, you’ll receive a token to cast your vote. There is no minimum spend required, and you don’t need to buy a carrier bag to receive a voting token.

 

Why Your Vote Matters 🗳️

 

The Tesco Stronger Starts funding will be allocated based on customer votes, with first place receiving up to £1,500, second place receiving £1,000, and third place receiving £500. Your support can make a huge difference in ensuring that students and families in our community have access to the essentials they need.
