The biggest ever snap election is about to take place. Have you registered to vote yet?

Believe it or not, it takes just 5 minutes to register to vote. That’s the same amount of time it takes to make a cup of noodles! Register to vote by 26th November.

The deadline to register is 26th November 2019 at 23:59pm local time, and 5pm if you would prefer to do a postal vote. Students who are living in student accommodation but also have a home address can register for two polling stations but can only vote in one when December 12th comes around. So if you decide to dart home early for Christmas, you don't have to worry! 

You’ve probably heard the old saying “every vote counts”. Well this time it couldn’t be any further from the truth. There is so much coverage in the press right now on Brexit that this will probably be the biggest vote in our history. As a student, you have the opportunity to have a huge say on who runs our country and help map the future for yourself and your fellow students. Whether you’re passionate about the educational sector, climate change, the healthcare system, or mental health; don’t miss out on your opportunity to vote on December 12th.
