When we first launched our Where’s Glyn? campaign in May, we never could have imagined that Wrexham AFC co-owner and Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney would be carrying our favourite pocket-sized lion mascot!

 

The idea behind our campaign is pretty straightforward. Hide Glyn at various locations around Wrexham Glyndwr University campus, take a snapshot, then have students guess where he is! To date, Glyn has been spotted in places such as the B-hive social learning space, the library, the entrance of the Students’ Union..

 

..and lastly, in Rob McElhenney’s pocket!

We revealed Glyn’s location the same day that a new trailer got released for Welcome to Wrexham, the highly anticipated docuseries that will follow Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney on their journey across two seasons with Wrexham AFC. Welcome to Wrexham is scheduled to release on 25th August in the UK on Disney+
