To join the team, you must first purchase a Tîm Wrecsam Membership

Your first training session is free! 

 

Training Sessions

Tuesdays 16:00-18:00 at the Wrexham University Sports Centre

 

Some need-to-know information:

• 6 players needed to field a full team for BUCS Wednesday fixtures
• Players must purchase a Tîm Wrecsam Membership ahead of the first fixture
• Training will take place at the WU Sports Hall on Tuesdays from 16:00-18:00
• Racquets and shuttles are provided
• Competitve kit (Home and Away) are provided for matches
• Transport to Away matches is arranged and paid for by WSU
• We compete in the BUCS Northern League (Tier 5-5a)

The format for BUCS fixtures is as follows:

BAD 6.2 Order of play. The singles players and doubles pairs for each fixture shall all be ranked in order of playing strength. The order of play for each match shall be as follows (home team placings first):

Singles        1v2

Singles        2v1

Doubles      1v2

Doubles      2v1

Singles        1v1

Singles        2v2

Doubles      1v1

Doubles      2v2

A player cannot play singles and doubles during the same match. (BAD 7.1.1)
