Can I get help with my VISA?

Can I get help with funding or student finance?

We don't deal with funding or student finance at the SU Advice Centre. Instead, please contact funding@wrexham.ac.uk.

I need help with an extenuating circumstance. Can you assist me with this?

We can help you with this. Book an appointment here.

Do you only do face-to-face appointments?

No, you can book an appointment on Teams, Zoom or over the phone!

Will you share my information with the University?

No, our independent Advice Centre is completely confidential.

How do I book an appointment?

Simply send an email over to suadvice@wrexham.ac.uk. Tell us a little bit about what you need help with and this will assist both you and your advisor when it comes to your appointment taking place. 

Do you offer walk-in appointments?

Not usually as this depends on appointment availability, but we are sometimes able to be flexible where possible. Please note, that without an appointment booked, this is not a guarantee.

Where are you located?

We’re located in the SU building on the main Plas Coch Campus.

How long will my appointment last?

Standard appointment slots are half an hour in length, but in some circumstances we are able to offer longer appointments if needed.

Is the SU Advice service free?

Yes, our SU Advice Centre is completely free to access for all students!

I’m an overseas student, can I book an appointment?

Yes you can, we offer Teams or Zoom appointments.

Do you arrange accommodation for students?

Unfortunately, SU Advice cannot arrange accommodation for students. If you are need of help finding accommodation, please contact ask@wrexham.ac.uk or head over to the Accommodation section of the University's website.
