Summary of exceptional members meeting held 1st October 2024:

The Student Members' Meeting successfully met its quorum of 25 voting members and achieved the required two-thirds majority to pass the resolution. This marks a significant milestone for Wrexham Glyndwr Students’ Union in aligning with the recent rebranding of Wrexham University. The approved changes to the Articles of Association enabled the Students’ Union to adopt its new name, Wrexham Students’ Union | Undeb Myfyrwyr Wrecsam, and proceed with the rebranding process. The updated identity would officially launch in August 2024, following a year of stakeholder consultation and preparation.
