Pamela Okoye Women's Officer Candidate

Hi everyone,

My name is Pamela Okoye, and I am a first-year Nursing student. I am running for the position of Women’s Officer because I am passionate about advocating for women's rights and creating an inclusive environment for all women on campus.

My Experience and Skills

I have experience in organising both  personal events and events within my local church and leading initiatives that promote gender equality. Through my previous employment and my current studies, I have developed strong communication, time management, and organisational skills. I believe these qualities make me an ideal candidate for the role of Women’s Officer.

If Elected, I Aim To:

  • Objective 1: Organise a series of workshops focused on women's health, empowerment, and leadership to foster a supportive community and encourage participation.
  • Objective 2: Advocate for better resources and support services for women on campus by collaborating with university administration to address concerns and seek funding opportunities.

I believe these aims will positively impact our campus community by empowering women, raising awareness of gender issues, and ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.

Thank you for reading my manifesto! I am excited about the possibility of representing you as your Women’s Officer. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ideas at s24000219@glyndwr.wrexham.uk. Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive community for all women.

Best regards,
Pamela Okoye
