Introduction:
Hi, I’m Dipannita Ghosh Sneha, running for International Students’ Officer. As a student from Bangladesh who studied and worked in India for 4.5 years, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new country, culture, and academic system. I want to ensure international students feels more welcomed, supported, and empowered at university.  

Experience:
As President of my undergrad college Entrepreneurship Cell, I organized networking eventsamd workshops to support students professional and personal growth, worked with university officials to improved student engagement, and created initiatives to help students thrive. These experiences honed my leadership, communication, and advocacy skills, making me an ideal candidate for this role.  

Plans:
If elected, I will:  
1. Enhance support through mentorship programs and clearer guidance on visas, housing, and academics.  
2. Promote cultural exchange with monthly events and social meetups to build connections.  
3. Advocate for affordable housing, financial aid, and better representation for international students.  
4. ⁠Ensure that international students’ concerns are heard by working closely with university administration.
