Hi! I'm Maisie, your Students' Union President for 2024/25. 

Being President means that I am in a fortunate position to make the changes you want to see. Through being a member of the Board of Governors at the University and  Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Students' Union, my role is to amplify your student voice.

Why I ran for SU President

 I ran to be President of Wrexham Students' Union because I believe in the power of student-led change and the importance of representing the diverse voices of our student body. Throughout my time at university, I’ve seen both the opportunities and challenges that students face, and I wanted to be in a position where I could work alongside students to improve our campus experience - no matter where in the world the campus is. Whether it’s advocating for better support services, increasing student involvement in decision-making, or creating a more inclusive environment, I wanted to ensure every student feels heard, valued, and empowered. My passion for making a tangible difference, combined with my dedication to working collaboratively with the SU team and the wider university community, motivated me to step outside my comfort zone.
